Hello all, I know I haven't gotten a post up recently! We have been a busy busy family since the sun is bright and shining! Well today is Game Day for Victor! First game of the season! We are super excited! Game starts at 4. It seems with the kids I have to start getting them ready now to make the hour drive there to the other teams field! Ahh the joys of long rides with young ones! Lol! I'll update everyone when we get home tonight.. For now here are some pics from Victor practice last Saturday!!

Dreaming of Popsicles and Puppies...

He tried to put her to sleep on his lap! It ended in a tickle fight!

Yes he is my everything!

For days now I have been thinking that I need to sit down and write a blog. Thinking is obviously way easier then doing it! It's been a crazy week to say the least.

Victor's football is going great. He's very confidant he will be starting and his coach and teammates have given him nothing but good praises! I love this because he gets to do something he loves so much and because it makes him happy! Work has been going well for him also. There is a permanent spot that has opened up on a house he wants to be on and the manager there really wants him back! He used to work on the house before but got moved do to him only being a temp there! Now we just have to get his application in so that he is guaranteed to withstand the cut backs until he gets a police job!

Ethan & Kalea are up to the usual! It's been nice and sunny here lately so of course they have gotten to play outside as much as their hearts desire! We bought them a little pool today! The water was still a little cold for them but they had a blast throwing things into the pool and "fishing" for them as Ethan said it! I found out that I can also put them both into a pre-school together ((in different classes of course)) for a mere $380.00 a month. That was a blessing because we wanted them to be able to go to Pre-school but we aren't eligable for ECEAP or Headstart! Ethan is already trying to go! I had to explain to him he couldn't start until the Fall and he didn't like that much! We did have a little incident today where Kalea made him mad and he bit her. She came out of his room crying and holding her arm and sure enough the bite marks were clear as day with a little bloody-bruising raising up towards the skin. His Daddy had to go in and have a stern talking to him of course. Vic hates punishing them. Poor guy! Don't worry he isn't the only one! Ethan still hasn't given up the reason for the biting of course! They are growing so big. I want it to slow down. I miss my babies! Now Kalea is pushing me away to do things herself and of course, being my baby, it makes me shed a tear here and there. They are needing me less and less lately! I cherish the times where they just want to snuggle! Even if they do do it at the worst times!

Work for me is crazy. We have been non-stop busy lately. It's good but bad at the same time. Good because we need it and bad because it's just stressful and makes for a long day when you get stuck with someone who can't keep up with your pace! Those are the times I love working with my sister! We work very well together and heck, we are dang fast at what we do!! I am having some health issues right now! I'll have to speak more about that at a later time when I know more! Please just pray that everything will be ok!

Victor & I have discussed having another baby. We really want to have our kids close in age and he really wants a second boy! He thinks he's getting his own little football team I think! He's crazy sometimes! Lol! I love him so much! He is the greatest Dad! I'll always cherish the memory I have of him and Ethan walking out of the room in their underwear (it really was cute, trust me) with their little toy guns searchign for "monsters!" Yes, it was around 11:30PM and yes, I do know Ethan is only 3 and shouldn't be up that late but I think he had more fun that night then he has ever had with his Daddy! From what I could hear listening in on them searching our garage and shooting at monsters and through our house, we had a lot of them. Good thing they got them all! I haven't had another monster search places in a couple weeks now! He has been coming out in the middle of the night and crying saying there is a puppy in his room. It's been very odd because he doesn't look happy he looks scared when he says it and doesn't want to go back to his room. He wants to sleep in our bed. It's happened a few times now. Not too sure what to do about that! I have tried to explain to him there is no puppy there and nothing will ever hurt him because his Daddy would take care of us forever but he looks at me like I'm crazy and rubs the side of my cheek and says "Mommy, it's ok I'll sleep by you!" Then I try tell him to think about something he really really likes before going to bed and the poor kid says "Puppies and Popsicles!" *slapping my hand against my head* I really don't think he understands the whole point of "the talk!" Lol it's a great thing we have such a big bed!

Well I know I've been rambling so I better get off here and read a little before I close my eyes! It's my only time with Victor lately it seems!

Oh and by the way, I GOT MY NEW CAMERA! It's an Olympus Stylus Tough 8000 and its AMAZING! Look it up sometime!

We love you all!! Enjoy the weather outside tomorrow! I know we will!!

Goodnight!

Ahh Life!!

Just outta the bath!! Look at that cute little nose!

Smiling even though he's sick! Such a champ!

So it's official, just when I thought those icky diapers and all that carpet cleaner were done Ethan has come up with a flu bug. It seems to be never ending. No pot of gold at the end of my rainbow this weekend!! And of course the first weekend in awhile its nice and sunny outside my poor babies are stuck inside and I have to work all night! Poor babies!

The upside to our week/month is that I just ordered an awesome new camera! It's water proof up to 33 Feet in the water, crush proof, freeze proof, drop proof...so ultimately KID PROOF! It's an Olympus Stylus Tough 8000! Yes it did cost a lil bit of money but Vic and I decided that the memories it will help us capture are well worth it and again, our kids can't destroy it! Haha!

Victor & I also just booked our cabin for our yearly family trip to the Long Beach, WA with the kids. We are all so excited!! And this year it's going to be on Father's Day and Victor's Birthday! We are leaving 2 days after my birthday!! AND... My Mom and Step-Dad, Jess & Jeremy are coming with us and booking a cabin next to ours! Mom and Darrel are leaving Father's Day night but Jess is staying with Jeremy until we leave!!! The kids absolutely LOVED the ocean.. It's always held a spot in my heart. I remember the times we went as a family with my Daddy and it just makes me smile every time! I feel the closest to him when I am there and what better time to spend there than Father's Day! I'll get to feel close to my Dad, my step-dad will be there, Victor with be there...the only thing that's missing is my Father-in-law. I wish they could come! It would be complete!

I've really enjoyed the time spent with my other family a lot lately! The kids love to go over to the Valle part of our family and when we get there it's been nothing but laughs and fun! It's great! I wish it wasn't an hour drive away to see them, that keeps us from not being able to see them as much as we would like! Right now though our life is here with the jobs we have! Good jobs are hard to come by right now!!

Well I must make some lunch for the kiddos! I think I need some cuddle time & a good kid movie with them! Everyone have a great day! Enjoy the sun while it's shining here in Washington and to all our family outside of this state (and inside of course) We love you and thanks for keeping up with us!

We tested it out....

So we tested it out today.... and came to the conclusion that.... We like Kalea's hair better natural! Tonight after her bath we blew her hair dry and I missed her ringlets instantly! They may be hard to deal with daily but they are adorable!! What do you think??

And here is her hair after the blow dry!

Oh Sunny Day....

Today started out very hectic. It was my first day back after a mini hiatus. The kids did not want to go to Aunt Lizzy's today. Poor Ethan woke up groggily and told me "I WILL NOT go to Lizzy's!" Lol. He was very stern on that point. I then had to ask him if he thought he could make his own breakfast and his noodle for lunch or if he was going to potty train in 2 minutes so he didn't have to change his own diaper, he looked at me with his pouty lips and said "I'm going to work with you!" Haha! After our struggle it ended up being Kalea who didn't want to stay there after we got there! She cried as I was walking out the door and it took everything in me not to pick up my phone and call someone to tell them I was gonna stay at home and take care of my kids! Darned those things called bills! As the morning went on it was a beautiful day. A nice break to what we have had lately! Then all of a sudden 10:30 hit and *BAM* just like that it was a non stop rush of people until 1:30 hit. Our town is hosting their yearly Relay For Life this weekend and by gawly, I didn't even think about it. 3:00 hit and I was out of that door and ready to enjoy my kiddos and husband with a day in the sun. We went home and decided, heck, let's go to the lake! It has a nice little park the kids can play in, a lot of grass, and water!! Well we got there and to my surprise there wasn't anyone really there but a couple families! It was nice and quiet! The kids got excited right when they saw the playground and were running for the slide until all of a sudden miss Kalea saw the water! She bee lined it for the road to lead to the lake and thankfully we are a little faster or she would have had some big boo boos! We decided to go to the lake part first but because it was still a little on the cold side and the water was in the shade by the time we got there we just played in the water with our feet which seemed to satisfy everyone except Victor who hates cold water! Haha! He planted himself on a bench unti we decided to walk around the dock!! Before that though, wouldn't ya know, there was a scary lookin fish right be my feet! Ahh!! haha! Of course I moved and it swam away! We were walking around the dock and sure enough Ethan found 5 more of those darned fish just sitting by the side of the concrete wall that makes the lake!! I'm going to make it my mission tonight to find out what type of fish that is by the way! Lol!! After our little water mission we ended up at the park again where the kids played some more!! Reluctantly we pulled the kids away from the toys as dusk hit and headed for home. On our way we decided for a treat to instead of dinner at home we got DQ and ice cream for desert!! Yum yum of course! We got home, sat down, I got on the computer to take care of a few things, turn around, and sure enough everyone was asleep! Kalea on the floor wrapped in a blankie below the TV, Ethan went to his room, and Victor with his arms crossed sitting straight up on the couch! It was a nice and peaceful hour and a half. The kids are in bed again... Asleep, no! I wish! We are still fighting with them to lay down and let their minds wander to their dreams so Mommy and Daddy can have some quiet time! As I'm writing this Kalea has climbed out of her crib again and wandered out here with her "My First Bible" and said "Mommy read!" So I take it that is my que to lay her down in my arms and read where we left off the last time ((If she hasn't lost our place again of course)) Here are a few pictures to enjoy of our beautiful day!! Goodnight all!

He was getting ready to do his "Spiderman!"
Yes, we still take corny pictures!
She calls this dress her towel!!
Victor was waiting in the wings getting ready to jump in case someone decided to go in!!
Run Lea Run!
He said "Mommy I showin my booty..Out of the mouth of babes!"
I think she was debating tossing my car keys in the water!
Soakin in the rays!!

My Bubba!
When they first got there!
I still love his smile!

Please Go Away.....

And then they were calm again!....

So it seems as the night rolled through both Ethan & Kalea have developed even more of this little flu bug they got yesterday added on with a cold. Needless to say today has already been filled with icky noses, even worse pull-ups, and a LOT of carpet cleaner! Miss Kalea who absolutely LOVES her baths refuses to take one even. The one thing about them being sick is I feel so helpless. The only thing I can do is love on them and listen to them cough and wait for them to have another round of throwing up! **SIGH** Now I just get off the phone with Victor and it seems he's coming down with it too. Poor guy. It did give me a reason to make yummy soup for them!!

Ahh life is grand.

It sure hasn't stopped them from picking on each other! As I write this Kalea is climbing over poor Ethan who was trying to lay on the couch in a blankie and watch "Dunston Checks In!" After re directing and covering them up nice and tight they are back to watching their "MunnkAyyy" movie as Kalea puts it!

It seems in about half an hour when my poor husband gets home I'll be making him get in his jammies and snuggling up with some warm soup!

Stay warm everyone!! Keep out of this dreadful Washington rain...
